Easy Breakfasts: "Bircher Muesli" made in minutes

I am always trying to simplify meals as I believe eating needs to fit into our lifestyle. I find that when people first start to eat plant based meals they miss that comforting full feeling, which is mistaken for overeating. I find that this Muesli fills you up without compromising your health. It is not only delicious but versatile and easy to make and healthy of course. Start with the basic recipe and then start to experiment and add your favourite items. My Muesli never tastes the same.

Bircher Muesli

1 cup oats

1/2 cup raisins, cranberries or dates

1/4 cup cacao (raw version of cocoa)

1 banana

2 cups milk of choice or water

1/4 cup hemp seeds

1/2 cups pumpkin seeds

1/4 tsp Himalayan salt

Mash the banana and add rest of ingredients. Mix and place in refrigerator. Leave over night. Will keep for 5 days. you can serve with Coconut Yogurt, fresh berries or chopped fruit. If you would like it warm add hot water.
